Hello and blessings to everyone through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Welcome to our East Fork Lutheran School, virtual mode. We are a small, private, Christian school, with our governing church, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) providing the theological and administrative foundation for our school. East Fork Lutheran School falls under the Board for World Missions and Native Christian programs through the WELS administration. Our ministry serves the White Mountain Apache Tribe, and the school has between 95 to 120 students on a yearly basis, grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.

I am entering my first year of principalship, at any school, and can only be here through the Graces of God and the gifts and talents he has blessed me with! It is a beautiful and amazing place to work, and an incredible opportunity in ministry. I am blessed to represent the WELS and Apaches in this position. East Fork school and church have a tremendous history in the WELS going back 100+ years, a history that is full of God’s grace, blessings, and love through the ministry here.

Our school is an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) school, an Arizona tuition voucher program that provides funding for students who seek alternatives to their education beyond the public school system. A majority of our students are funded through the ESA and we are blessed to have the ACSTO program (Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization). This also helps assist our families with tuition so they can have a quality Christian Education. We offer extracurricular for grades 5 on up (and some instances grades 3 and 4 as well) and our 5th-6th graders play in the Fort Apache Youth Athletic League and our 7th -8th graders participate in the Rim Rider sports league. We offer Cross Country, Girls Volleyball and Boys Flag Football in the fall, boys and girls basketball in the winter, and we have co-ed softball and track in the spring.

Aside from our sports program, we have a growing and successful Robotics program. Our students participate in the worldwide VEX IQ Robotics competitions and we have been to the World Championship event in the past 2 years. Our school is also home to the 2025 Arizona VEXIQ Robotics State Champions for the Elementary division!!! It is amazing to see what our students can accomplish with their God-given abilities and with opportunities we can offer, all through the Grace of our Lord.

Thank you to everyone out there in the WELS and beyond who keep East Fork near and dear to their hearts. So many churches, LWMS groups, individuals, and families richly support us with prayers, words of encouragement, and financial gifts throughout the years. We are so blessed to have the history of faith being taught here, and that history has exposed so many lives to our school and our place here in Apache country. We thank the Lord for all of you, our brothers and sisters in the faith who have served here, whose family served here, those that attended school here, heard of us through your networks, or who might have visited East Fork at some time in your life, all who keep us in your prayers. We pray also for you through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for visiting our page, being an East Fork family, or for considering our school for your child’s education .
