Dear Parents and Guardians,
The board of education continues to monitor the spread of COVID within our community and
remains hopeful that in-person learning will resume at East Fork Lutheran School when it is safe
for our students, caregivers, and staff.
In order to provide timely communication to our parents and guardians, we are informing you
that when school resumes on Monday, January 4, online instruction will continue. We are
uncertain what actions may or may not be taken over Christmas Break and by extending online
instruction it provides the board an opportunity to evaluate the situation at the beginning of
the new quarter.
The board of education will assess the status of tribal actions, the community spread of COVID,
and revisit the safety of returning to in-person learning. If it is safe, in-person learning may
begin on Monday, February 1. If it is still determined to be unsafe, a new target date will be set
and the board will continue to monitor and evaluate.
If you have questions, please contact the school office.
In Christ’s Service,
Mr. Anthony, principal
