8th Grade Graduation Details
This unique school year has forced many normal school activities to be different or to not happen. Certainly, it has been challenging. However, Lord willing on May 27 at 6pm we will host a graduation service for the 8th grade class. We are so excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our 8th graders! However, there will be some rules we have to follow and enforce in order to safely have the service. Please know that these rules are based upon guidelines from the WMAT EOC. These include:
To attend, if vaccine eligible, you must have your COVID-19 vaccination and present your vaccination card upon arrival.
Each graduate will be allowed to invite 8 guests, including family members. This will be done by giving each family/graduate 8 tickets with their names on it. These tickets can be picked up beginning May 24 from the school office once the student’s account is fully paid off and their school issued iPad has been returned.
Masks will be required.
There will not be a reception afterward because there is no food allowed.
If you are sick or suffering from allergies but do not have COVID, you must have a doctor’s note with you.
The service will be outdoors, weather permitting.
Seats will be socially distanced.
If you do not follow these rules, you will be asked to leave.
We look forward to a wonderful graduation service!
