I grew up on a dairy farm near the Horicon marsh in WI.  My wife, Diane, went to heaven in August of 2017.  The Lord has blessed me with 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys.  My children live in Doral, FL, Rio Rancho, NM, Puryear, TN, Canton, MI and Palmyra, WI.  He also has blessed me with 29 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

I attended Northwestern Prep and Northwestern College in Watertown, WI and I graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI in 1978.  I have been blessed and privileged to have served in the ministry for 40+ years.  I have served both in the parish ministry and in our area Lutheran High Schools.  Furthermore, I served in Indonesia and on the White Mountain Apache reservation at East Fork and at Calvary Academy.

Two of my favorite Bible passages are Philippians 4:6,7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  The other is Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”  I enjoy visiting my children and grandchildren, hiking and reading.
